Project effectiveness analysis of investment project by ABC Ltd. using real options.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozborem investičního projektu společnosti ABC s. r. o. Teoretická část diplomové práce obsahuje analýzu investičního procesu a popis jednotlivých metod hodnocení efektivnosti investice. Na konec teoretické části je popsána moderní metoda řízení investiční činnosti ? metoda reálných opcí. Praktická část charakterizuje společnost a následně její investiční záměr. Druhá část pokračuje hodnocením investičního projektu pomocí klasických metod, které doplňuje aplikace metody reálných opcí. V závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny výsledky obou metod a uvedena doporučení, která by dle autora vedla k zlepšení.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with analysis of the investement project in the ABC Ltd. Theoretical part of the thesis contains an analysis of the investment process and methods of assessing the effectiveness of the investment project. At the end of theoretical part describes the modern method of investment management business ? the metod of real options. The practical part describes the company and the investmenst project. In the second part is evaluation of investment project using traditional methods and real options method. At the end of thesis are evaluations by both methods and recommendations that would let to improvement situation in the company.
