Attitudes of basic school pupils to people with health disadvantage and choosen aspect of their social integration

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá postoji žáků druhého stupně základních škol k osobám se zdravotním postižením a vybraným aspektům jejich integrace do společnosti. V teoretické části práce je popsána problematika osob se zdravotním postižením, dále legislativní ráz a vztah společnosti k těmto handicapovaným jedincům. Další kapitoly se dotýkají problematiky integrace handicapovaných do intaktní společnosti a také východisky vzniku postojů, předsudků a stereotypů, se kterými se setkáváme při kontaktu s osobou se zdravotním postižením. Výzkumné šetření zaměřené na analýzu postojů žáků základních škol k osobám se zdravotním postižením a vybraným aspektům jejich integrace do společnosti, je následně realizováno s využitím nestandardizovaného výzkumného dotazníku. Výstupem bakalářské práce jsou doporučení, formy a programy práce s postoji, názory a předsudky žáků základních škol ve smyslu akceptace zdravotně postižených do běžného vzdělávacího proudu a následné poskytnutí zpětné vazby pedagogům, jako přímým účastníkům integrace a inkluze.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with attitudes of pupils of primary school for persons with disabilities, and some aspects of their integration into society. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the problems of persons with disabilities, as well as legislative character and relationship with the company for these handicapped individuals. Other chapters concern the issue of the integration of disabled people into society intact and also the starting formation of attitudes, prejudices and stereotypes encountered in contact with a person with disabilities. The survey aimed at analyzing the attitudes of primary school pupils to persons with disabilities and selected aspects of their integration into society, is then implemented using non-standardized research questionnaires. The outcome of the thesis are recommendations, forms and programs of work with the attitudes, opinions and prejudices of elementary school pupils in terms of acceptance of the disabled into mainstream education and then provide feedback to teachers as direct participants in the integration and inclusion.
