The toponyms in the cadastre of the village Perná (Břeclav District) regarding to their pre-war development

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je popis současné toponymie na katastru obce Perná. Jelikož v této pohraniční obci před rokem 1945 převládalo německé obyvatelstvo, je přihlíženo i k dřívějším německým názvům. Úvodní kapitoly zahrnují charakteristiku obce a teoretická východiska pro popis toponymie. Nejobsáhlejší část práce tvoří slovník 121 současných toponym. Ty jsou dále podrobeny analýze, a to na základě několika hledisek. Toponyma byla získána z různých historických i současných map a dalších pramenů, ale především terénním výzkumem, který probíhal začátkem roku 2013. Sledována je také generační znalost toponym ze strany obyvatel Perné.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the description of the current toponymy in the cadastre of the village Perná. In view of the fact that the German population was dominated in this borderline village before the year 1945, the German expressions are reflected as well. The introductory chapters include the characteristic of the village Perná and theoretical basis for the description of toponymy. The most extensive part of the work is created by glossary of 121 toponyms. They are put to the analysis on the basis of several points of view afterwards. The toponyms were collected from the various historical and current maps and other sources as well, but mainly from a direct field research in the early 2013. The generation knowledge of the toponyms from the population of Perná is reflected too.
