Social Relations between Children in Educational Institutions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá sociálními vztahy mezi dětmi ve výchovných ústavech. Cílem bylo porozumět vztahu mezi naplněním základních potřeb dětí a vztahy v kolektivu skupiny výchovného ústavu. Zajímá nás, jaký vliv mají tyto potřeby na kvalitu vztahů mezi jedinci dané skupiny, jak se liší hodnoty respondentů v jednotlivých kategoriích pocitů a zda respondenti, kteří mají naplněné základní potřeby, jsou vnímavější k osamoceným jedincům ve skupině. Výzkum proběhl dotazníkovým šetřením, reflektující potřeby a komunikační zdatnost dětí s poruchami chování. Dotazník se skládal ze tří okruhů, reflektující výzkumné otázky. Jeho první okruh byl inspirován Maslowovou pyramidou hodnot, obsahující sémantický diferenciál k vyjádření pocitů respondentů ve skupině, druhý okruh byl výrokový, týkající se vztahů s ostatními členy skupiny. Třetí okruh se zaměřoval na respondentovo vnímání vztahů mezi ostatními členy skupiny. Ve druhém a třetím okruhu respondent odpovídal podle Likertovy škály. Pro analýzu dat byla použita statistická metoda - Spearmanova korelace. Výsledky výzkumu zjistily, že respondenti, kteří mají naplněné základní potřeby a cítí se dobře v kolektivu skupiny, častěji uvádí pozitivnější vztahy mezi ostatními členy skupiny. Analýza ukázala středně silnou korelaci mezi pocitem pohody ve skupině a vnímáním vztahů mezi ostatními členy skupiny. Existuje několik vysvětlení pro toto zjištění, jako například kognitivní disonance nebo selektivní vnímání. Respondenti, kteří se cítí dobře ve skupině, pravděpodobně vnímají pozitivnější vztahy s ostatními členy skupiny, zatímco respondenti, kteří se necítí dobře ve skupině, pravděpodobně vnímají negativnější vztahy.

Abstract:

Thesis deals with social relations between children in educational institutions. The aim was to understand the relationship between the fulfilment of children's basic needs and the relationships within the collective group of the educational institution. We are interested in how these needs affect the quality of relationships between individuals in a given group, how respondents' values differ across the categories of feelings, and whether respondents who have basic needs met are more receptive to lonely individuals in the group. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey, reflecting the needs and communication skills of children with conduct disorders. The questionnaire consisted of three headings, reflecting the research questions. Its first heading was inspired by Maslow's pyramid of values, containing a semantic differential to express the feelings of the respondents in the group, while the second heading was propositional, concerning relationships with other group members. The third heading focused on the respondent's perception of relationships with other group members. In the second and third circles, the respondent answered according to a Likert scale. The statistical method used for data analysis was Spearman correlation. The results of the research found that respondents who have their basic needs met and feel comfortable in the group collective are more likely to report more positive relationships between other group members. The analysis showed a moderately strong correlation between feeling comfortable in a group and perceived relationships among other group members. There are several explanations for this finding, such as cognitive dissonance or selective perception. Respondents who feel comfortable in a group are likely to perceive more positive relationships with other group members, whereas respondents who do not feel comfortable in a group are likely to perceive more negative relationships.
