Counselling as a bridge between health care and social rehabilitation services with a view to users of services of Tyfloservis in a selected locality

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je poradenství jako most mezi zdravotní péčí a sociálně re-habilitačními službami. Tato práce si klade za cíl upozornit na důležitost odborně vede-ného poradenského procesu pro skupinu zrakově postižených klientů a vyzdvihnout důležitost spolupráce mezi zdravotním sektorem (očními lékaři a ostatním zdravotním personálem), sociálními pracovníky a pracovníky neziskových organizací pracujícími se skupinou zrakově postižených. Cílem práce je zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky: „Jaký význam má podle klientů poradenský proces na navazující sociální rehabilitaci klientů se zrakovým postižením?“ Text diplomové práce je rozčleněn na tři hlavní části, a to na část teoretickou, metodologickou a analytickou. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením pojmu poraden-ství, sociální rehabilitace a pojmů s tím souvisejících. Metodologická část se zabývá především vysvětlením použitých výzkumných metod a postupů, uvádí operacionalizované výzkumné otázky, objasňuje techniky sběru dat či výběr jednotek zkoumání a zjišťování. V analytické části jsou pak rozebrána data získaná výzkumem a jsou zodpovězeny dílčí výzkumné otázky. V závěru práce je vyvozena odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku a jsou navržena doporučení pro zlepšení stávající situace.

Abstract:

The subject of the graduation thesis is a consultancy as a bridge between a health care and social rehabilitation services. The aim of these thesis is to the draw attention to the importance of professionally led consultancy service provided for visually handicapped clients and to highlight the importance of cooperation between a health sector (especially ophtalmologists and other health staff), social workers and employees of non-profit organizations working with visually handicapped people. The goal is also to answer the major research question: “What is in accordance to the clients the significance of the consultancy procedure service to the consequential social rehabilitation of the visually handicapped clients.” The contents of the diploma theses is divided into three main parts, namely a theoretical, a methodological and an analytical one. The theoretical part is focused on the specification of the consultancy, the social rehabilitation concept and the terms related to it. The methodological part explains above all the research methods and procedures used, presents implied research questions and clarifies the methods of the data gathering and selection of the units subject to the investigation and research. The analytical parts analyses the data obtained from the research and gives answers to the partial research questions. At the conclusion the theses gives an answer to the main research question and suggests recommendations for improvement of the existing situation.
