Origins and contemporary trends of the reform of the French public administration

Anotácia:

Diplomová práce „Východiska a aktuální trendy reformy francouzské územní správy“ se zaměřuje na zkoumání reforem francouzské územní správy, a to od jejich počátků až do právě probíhající a prozatím poslední reformy. Nejprve jsou v teoretické části představeny základní charakteristiky veřejné s územní správy a správních reforem, stejně jako pojem decentralizace a s ním spojené principy subsidiarity a svobodné správy, s důrazem na francouzské pojetí. Poté následuje chronologická deskripce územních reforem, které do současné doby proběhly či probíhají. V praktické části pak budou analyzovány možné dopady poslední reformy.

Abstract:

The thesis "Origins and contemporary trends of the reform of the French territorial administration" examines the reforms of the french territorial administration from their beginning till the present-day reform. In the theoretical part are presented basics facts about public and territorial administration and administration reforms as so as the concept of decentralisation and the principles of subsidiarity and free administration and stress is laid on the French approach. It is followed by a chronological description of territorial reforms which have already been made or are still on. In the practical part the possible impacts of the current reform are analysed.
