Restoration of a collection of paintings on paper
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá kompletním restaurováním tří rozdílných výtvarných technik na papírové podložce - pastelu, akvarelu a olejomalby. Nedílnou součástí praktické práce je i restaurování dvou dřevěných rámů patřících k dílům. Restaurovanému pastelu Karla Špillara se věnuje také čtvrtá část práce - kratší uměleckohistorická studie, komentující historii díla a osobnost autora.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with a complex restoration of three different artistic techniques on a paper support - pastel, watercolour and oil painting. The integral part of practical work is also restoration of two wooden frames belonging to the artworks. The last theoretical part of the thesis is a short historical study about a restored pastel by Karel Špillar and about the author himself.
