Abstract:
Důchodový systém byl v České republice dlouhá léta založen téměř výhradně na průběžně financovaném pilíři, tzv. PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go), který fungoval díky progresivní demografické struktuře. Tato struktura se však změnila výrazným poklesem porodnosti a snížením úmrtnosti ve vyšším věku, důsledkem čehož dochází ke stárnutí naší populace. The pension system was based on the progressive geographic structure and was driven almost exclusively via the PAYG system (PAY-As-You-Go) for many years in the Czech Republic. However, this structure had to change due to the sharp decline in the birth rate and the reduction in mortality at older ages; resulting in the population living longer.
