Abstract:

Práce shrnuje život Kristiána Ilova, císařského důstojníka třicetileté války. Do války vstoupil v hodnosti kapitána v pluku Katolické ligy velitele Hanse Filipa Fuchse von Bimbach, v pluku holštýnských jezdců vévody Adolfa byl již oberstlajtnantem a pod velením Albrechta z Valdštejna byl povýšen až do hodnosti polního maršála. Spolu s Valdštejnem a dalšími Valdštejnovými věrnými byl 25. února 1634 zavražděn v Chebu. Přestože byl původem šlechtic z Braniborska, většina majetku, který během třicetileté války získal, se nacházela v Zemích Koruny české. Mezi tento majetek patřilo i město Stříbro, které mu bylo dáno do zástavy na srážku válečných výdajů. Ilov se na něm během 11 let značně obohatil a přispěl tím k úpadku města v 17. století.

Abstract:

The work summarizes the life of Christian von Ilow, Imperial army officer in the Thirty Years War. He entered the war in the rank of captain of Catholic league´s regiment of commander Hans Phillip Fuchs von Bimbach, he was already oberstleutnant in the regiment of Holstein´s riders of duke Adolph and he was promoted to field marschall under the command of Albrecht von Wallenstein. He was murdered in Eger on 25th of February 1634 together with Wallenstein and other Wallenstein´s loyals. Although originally a nobleman from Brandenburg, most of his possession which he acquired during the Thirty Year War were located in the Lands of the Bohemian Crown. The town Stříbro belonged among these possessions, which was pledged to him for reduction of his war expenses. During the 11 years of his dominion Ilow considerable enriched himself and contributed to the decline of the town in the 17th century.
