Security precaution in Brno’s cinemas between 1912 – 1939

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je co nejpřesněji popsat bezpečnostní předpisy v brněnských kinematografech v letech 1912 – 1939. Také funkci kontrolních orgánů a jejich požadavky. Výzkumná část práce odpovídá na stanovené otázky: Jak efektivní byla práce komise? Jaké byly nejčastější příčiny porušování předpisů?

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to describe as accurately as possible how worked security precaution in Brno’s cinemas between 1912–1939. What regulations and rules were stated. How those were followed by cinema operator’s and what was the role of auditing body.The bachelor thesis answers questions asked at the methodological introduction. How did operate commission and how efficient was comission’s inspection? Was not there any mistakes? What was the reason of frequent breach in security? What was the most frequent cause of fire?
