Perception of Autonomy Support Rate in Upbringing and Education of Children of Primary School Age

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vnímáním míry podpory autonomie u žáků základní školy. Teoretická část je rozdělena na tři kapitoly. První kapitola vymezuje školní věk- jeho psychologická specifika a věkové zařazení jedinců školního věku, druhá se věnuje vymezení výchovy v rodině, v poslední kapitole teoretické části je práce zaměřena na vzdělávání a vlivy rodiny na tuto oblast. Praktická část zjišťuje, prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, pohled žáků 4. -9. ročníků základní školy na vnímání míry podpory autonomie ze strany rodičů a to ve dvou oblastech. Diplomová práce má za cíl zmapovat v jaké míře, z pohledu žáků, projevují rodiče zájem a podporu ve výchově vzdělávání. A také jak míra vnímání v oblastech souvisí s pohlavím rodiče nebo školním věkem dítěte.

Abstract:

This thesis looks into how primary school children perceive support of autonomy. The theo-retical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines school age and its psy-chological characteristics, age range of school children. The second chapter defines family upbringing and the last chapter of the theoretical part focuses on education and the influ-ence the family has over this area. The practical part uses a survey form to look into how pupils of the 4th to 9th grade perceive support of autonomy from their parents in two dis-tinct areas. The thesis aims to establish to what extent parents express interest and support in education and upbringing, as perceived by the children, and to establish any potential links between the perceived interest and the gender of the parent and/or the age of the child.
