Theatre inscenation as a possible part of reminiscence therapy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním, zdali může divadelní inscenace figurovat jako součást podpory vzpomínek seniorů v reminiscenční terapii. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na pět hlavních témat - stáří, paměť a vzpomínky, reminiscence, divadlo a jako poslední divadelní terapie ve prospěch reminiscence. Výzkumná část pojímá metodologii výzkumného šetření, jež bylo provedeno kvalitativní výzkumnou strategií prostřednictvím hloubkových, polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a zpracováno otevřeným kódováním a vyložením karet. Výzkumný vzorek představují senioři, jež viděli divadelní představení Tenkrát?aneb album vzpomínek. Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a prozkoumat, jaký význam má pro seniory divadelní představení v kontextu reminiscenční terapie.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis' topic deals with possibility whether the theater inscenation can be a part of the reminiscence therapy in supporting of the memories of senior. The theoretical part focuses on five main topics - old age, memory and memories, reminiscence, theater and as last theater therapy to the benefit of reminiscence. The research part approachres the metodology of the research, which was carried out by a qualitative research strategy through a semi-structured interviews and processed by open coding and card lay-out. The research sample is represented by seniors, who have seen the theater performance Once Upon a Time? or the album of memories. The aim of this thesis is to describe and explore the importance of a theater performance for seniors in the context of reminiscence therapy.
