Environmental Aspects of Neoliberalism

Abstract:

Práce se snaží o základní přiblížení neoliberální ideologie a její propřírodní varianty – environmentálního neoliberalismu. V rámci neoliberalismu a environmentálního neoliberalismu je definováno postavení přírody uvnitř těchto směrů a jsou předloženy argumenty, které poukazují na problémy, které se z těchto přístupů vynořují. Na základě vymezení problematických míst, která z environmentálního neoliberalismu pramení, je zde analyzována nejen vnitřní konzistence tohoto směru, ale také vlastní kompatibilita environmentálního neoliberalismu s mateřskou neoliberální ideologií, její udržitelnost a skutečný vliv a postoj vůči životnímu prostředí.

Abstract:

The thesis tries to introduce the basic neoliberal ideology and its environmental variant - environmental neoliberalism. Within these trends, there is defined status of the nature and there are also presented arguments, highlighting the problems that emerge from these approaches. Based on the definition of barriers, issued from environmental neoliberalism, there is analyzed the internal consistency of this trend, but also, environmental compatibility with the parent neoliberal ideology, its sustainability, real influence and attitude to the environment.
