The implementation of the CNC drilling centre into the small furniture manufacturing company

Abstract:

Moderní výrobní technologie jsou v našem století nezbytnou součástí většiny průmyslových odvětví. Oblast výroby nábytku, kterou tvoří především malé a střední podniky, byla tímto trendem zasažena později a dodnes menší podniky zavedením těchto technologií váhají. Avšak dosud provedené studie ukazují kladný vliv na výsledky firem, které CNC technologie implementovaly. Práce se pokusí nastínit proces implementace technologie CNC vrtacího centra do malé truhlářské výroby a nastavit všechny potřebné aspekty k zavedení CNC vrtacího centra do výrobního procesu firmy. Literární rešerše se zaměřuje na prozkoumání jednotlivých oblastí týkající se výrobního procesu, které je potřeba učinit v rámci samotné implementace. Práce následně prezentuje jeden z možných postupů při rozhodování o výběru CNC pomocí metody MCDM a vytváří vzorovou normativní směrnici k výrobkům, které mají být na CNC obráběny. Implementace se po zavedení CNC vrtacího centra do provozu jeví jako smysluplná a vedoucí ke zvýšení efektivity výrobního procesu a obratu firmy.

Abstract:

Modern manufacturing technologies are an essential part of most industrial areas in the current century. The area of furniture manufacturing, which is composed mainly of small or medium-sized companies, was influenced by this trend a bit later, and some companies are hesitant to implement these technologies even to this day. However, the current studies show that CNC technologies did have a positive influence on the results of companies. This thesis will try to show the process of the CNC drilling centre’s implementation into the small joiner company and to set all the necessary aspects to implement the CNC drilling centre into the manufacturing process of this company. Research is mainly focused on the individual areas regarding the manufacturing process that need to be determined during the implementation phase. This thesis also presents one of the possible approaches during the decision-making process of the CNC selection by the MCDM method and creates a normative example (directive) for products that are to be machined. The implementation of the CNC drilling centre into the manufacturing process seems to be a reasonable thing, leading to the higher effectiveness of the manufacturing process and the company’s revenue.
