Reminiscence for clients with Alzheimer's disease

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem "Vliv používání reminiscence u klienta s Alzheimerovou chorobou". Teoretická část popisuje co je to Alzheimerova choroba a jaké jsou její příznaky. Píše se v ní také, jaká je role zdravotní sestry při péči o tyto klienty a jaká léčba se pro nemocné používá. Dále teoretická část popisuje co je to reminiscence. Píše o jejích příznivých účincích na klienty, jejich rodiny a ošetřující personál. Výzkumná část zkoumá, nakolik reminiscence ovlivňuje komunikaci a chování klienta při adaptaci do kolektivu v pobytovém zařízení. Dále pak zjišťuje, zda využívání reminiscence usnadňuje práci ošetřovatelského personálu s klientem s Alzheimerovou chorobou a jaký je postoj rodin klientů k využívání reminiscence. Praktickým výstupem práce je vytvoření vzpomínkové knihy ve spolupráci s klientem s Alzheimerovou chorobou.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of "the Effect of the use of reminiscence in a client with Alzheimer's disease". The theoretical part describes what is Alzheimer's disease and what are its symptoms. It says also, what is the role of the nurse when caring for these clients and what the treatment is for the sick used. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes what is reminiscence. She writes about her favorable effects on clients, their families and nursing staff. The research part explores the extent to which the reminiscence affects the communication and behavior of the client in the adaptation to the collective in a residential facility. Then determine whether the use of reminiscence facilitates the work of the nursing staff with a client with Alzheimer's disease and what is the attitude of the families of clients to the use of reminiscence. The practical output of the work is the creation of a commemorative book in cooperation with the client with Alzheimer's disease.
