This bachelor thesis focuses on the comprehension of African American English by non-native speakers of English. It is separated into two different parts. The first part of this paper focuses on introducing and explaining AAE, both in general and linguistic terms. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá pochopením Afro-Americké angličtiny nerodilými mluvčími angličtiny. Samotná práce je rozdělena na dvě části.
