The Jewish Community in Most from the 1920s to the 1940s
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce představuje sondu do života židovských obyvatel města Mostu v období od dvacátých do čtyřicátých let 20. století. Jejím cílem bylo vyhledat obyvatele židovského vyznání, kteří v Mostě žili před druhou světovou válkou, a najít a přiblížit jejich osudy po obsazení Sudet nacistickými vojsky.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis describes lives of the Jews living in the town of Most between 1920s and 1940s. The aim of this thesis was to seek for those Jewish citizens who lived in the town of Most before the Second World War. I also wanted to etch in fates of these people after the Sudetenland got occupied by the Naci troops. Except for archival database, I´ve also acquiered information from the hearsay …more
