Předkládaná doktorská práce se zabývá traktátem Largum sero benediktinského mnicha Jana z Holešova, v němž popsal sedm nejrozšířenějších lidových zvyků. Vytvořil jej mezi léty 1397 a 1405 na žádost Přibyslava, faráře v Lysé nad Labem. V první části autor disertační práce shrnuje současné poznatky o životě Jana z Holešova a podává zprávu o jeho díle. Abstract:
The present doctoral thesis deals with the tract Largum sero written by the Benedictine monk Jan of Holešov, in which he described the seven most popular folk customs. He wrote it between 1397 and 1405 at the request of Přibyslav, the parish priest in Lysá nad Labem.
