Bakalářská práce se zabývá ekonomickými dopady odtržení městské části či obvodu od statutárního města. První část (teoretická) pojednává o obcích, jejich druzích a financování. Dále objasňuje postup při změnách území obcí. Druhá část popisuje statutární města, jejich historický vývoj, financování a také členění na části.
