Wawel in Kraków as a Cultural Phenomenon
Abstract:
Předkládaná práce se zabývá krakovským návrším Wawel, na něm umístěným královským hradem i katedrálou. Práce letmo předestírá historii objektu, důraz však klade na způsob zobrazení Wawelu v polském umění, především literatuře.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the Krakow Wawel Hill, the royal castle and the cathedral. The work focuses briefly on the history of the building, but it emphasizes the way Wawel is portrayed in Polish art, especially literature.
