Diplomová práce se zabývá dvěma knihami, které jsou si velmi blízké. Deník Bridget Jonesové a Pýcha a předsudek jsou knihy odlišné, avšak jsou mezi nimi zřejmé spojitosti, jelikož se autorka Deníku Bridget Jonesové inspirovala právě dějem příběhu Pýchy a předsudku. Práce studuje knihy z feministického hlediska a shrnuje kritické názory, které jsou publikovány už od doby, kdy byly obě knihy vydány. …more
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with Bridget Jones’s Diary and Pride and Prejudice, which are books closely connected thanks to the fact that Helen Fielding based her book on the plot of Jane Austen’s novel. This thesis studies both books from the feminist point of view and sums up some critical works that have been written since the books were published.
