The Stiffness Improvement of Insufficient Parts Using FEM analysis

Abstract:

Diplomová práce byla zaměřena na zlepšení tuhosti dílce pomocí FEM analýzy. Jedná se o čelist brzdy, která se používá v bubnové brzdě u motocyklu. Teoretická část se zabývá základní terminologií metody konečných prvků, základní terminologií brzdových systémů u motocyklů, jejich materiálovou podstatou a vysvětlením výrobních systémů používaných k výrobě dílce. Praktická část řeší navržení nových brzdových čelistí, jejich simulaci při zatížení a výběru nové čelisti. Výrobu nových čelistí s testovacím přípravkem. Nově vyrobené a původní čelisti byly porovnávány.

Abstract:

The thesis was focused on improving the stiffness of the part by FEM analysis.It is a brake shoe, which is used in a drum brake for a motorcycle. The theoretical part deals with the basic terminology of the finite element method, the basic terminology of the brake systems in motorcycles, their material nature and the explanation of the production systems used for the manufacture of the part. The practical part is focused on the design of new brake shoes, their simulation under the load and selection of new jaw, then the production of new jaws with the testing product. New made and original jaws have been compared.
