Civil and political participation of foreigners in the regions Teplice and Ústí nad Labem

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a na praktickou část. Jedná se o kvalitativní výzkum. Definuje pojmy ze života cizinců a zabývá se pohledem cizinců a zástupců krajanských organizací na občanskou a politickou participaci, kterou se účastní života v naší zemi. Zkoumá jejich pocity a názory na integrační proces. Užitou metodou je kvalitativní výzkum ve formě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů vedených s cizinci a je zaměřena na regiony Teplice a Ústí nad Labem. Takto získaná data jsou v druhé praktické části spolu se sekundárními daty analyzována. Hlavním cílem je definice bariér cizineckých občanských a politických participací a návrh opatření k jejich odstranění. Výsledky výzkumu mohou sloužit regionálním institucím a integračním centrům cizinců pro jejich budoucí strategii v integračním procesu.

Abstract:

The Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. It is a qualitative research. It defines the terms of life of foreigners and deals with the points of view of foreigners and representatives of expatriate organizations on civic and political participation, by which they take part in life in our country. The Thesis examines their feelings and opinions on the integration process. The method applied is a qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews with foreigners and is focused on regions Teplice and Ústí nad Labem. The data such obtained are analysed in the second practical part, along with the secondary data. The main objective is to define the barriers of the civil and political participation of the foreigners and to propose the measures to eliminate the barriers. The research results can serve to the regional institutions and integration centres for foreigners in their future strategies in the integration process.
