This Master's Diploma Thesis is concerned with contrastive style analysis of literary translation from German to the Czech language on the example of a book from Günther Geltinger Mensch Engel (Man Engel). The analysis focuses on those passages that are interesting, mainly from the point of view of stylistics, and that can cause specific problems by the translation. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kontrastivní stylistickou analýzou literárního překladu z jazyka německého do jazyka českého na příkladu knihy Mensch Engel (Člověk Anděl) od Günthera Geltingera.
