In my thesis I undertake the issue of the physical protection of natural persons involved in criminal proceedings with the main focus on witness protection. Vo svojej diplomovej práci sa zaoberám problematikou fyzickej ochrany osôb zúčastnených na trestnom konaní, pričom sa zameriavam najmä na ochranu svedkov. Veľkú časť práce tvorí analýza a zhodnotenie platnej právnej úpravy tejto oblasti v Českej republike, ktorá je doplnená relevantnými judikátmi Európskeho súdu pre ľudské práva.
