Kinematic analysis of walking on Muffik mats from children of elementary school

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je porovnat kinematické parametry hlezenního a kolenního kloubu při chůzi po podložkách Muffik, ve srovnání s chůzí po rovné podlaze u dětí na druhém stupni základních škol. V teoretické části práce se zabýváme tématem chůze a kinematickou analýzou pohybu lidského těla. V praktické části je popsáno testování, kterého se zúčastnilo osm žáků (probandů) ze Sportovního gymnázia Dany a Emila Zátopkových v Ostravě. Test se skládal z chůze po třech odlišných površích. Na základě kinematické analýzy jsme získali data, která byla následně zpracována ve statistickém programu SPSS Statistics, který vyhodnotil významnost rozdílů v naměřených datech. Po zpracování dat jsme získali tři pro nás věcně významné proměnné, které se nalézaly ve středním efektu škály Cohenova D nad 0,6. Zbytek proměnných se nalézalo v malém či zanedbatelném efektu věcné významnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to compare the kinematic parameters of the ankle and knee joints during walking on Muffik pads, compared to walking on a flat floor in children in the second grade of primary schools. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we deal with the topic of walking and kinematic analysis of human body movement. In the practical part we describe the testing, which eight pupils (probands) from the Dana and Emil Zátopek Sports High School in Ostrava took part in. The test consisted of walking on three different surfaces. Kinematic analysis was used to obtain data, which were subsequently processed in the SPSS Statistics program to evaluate the significance of differences in the measured data. After processing the data, we found three substantively significant variables that were found in the mean effect of the Cohen's D scale above 0.6. The rest of the variables were found in the small or negligible effect of substantive significance.
