The management of corporate culture as a problem of management of diversity

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována problematice řízení firemní kultury jako řízení diverzity. Tato problematika je velmi důležitá pro podnikání v jakékoliv oblasti, protože v současné době význam firemní kultury a firemní diverzity je stále zdůrazňován v kontextu měnícího a globalizujícího se prostředí. Na základě posouzení, zhodnocení, analýzy získaných informací o vybraných problémech, jejich konfrontace s teoretickými, dosud známými podklady bude cílem diplomové práce analýza firmy na základě geocentrické strategie. Cílem předložené práce je v teoretické části komplexně objasnit pojetí řízení diverzity jako součásti firemní kultury. V empiricko - analytické části je hlavním cílem podrobně popsat, analyzovat a zhodnotit současný stav diverzity pracovních sil a diverzity managementu ve zvolené nadnárodní společnosti, zejména její české pobočce. Vybranou společností pro účely zpracování této diplomové práce je česká pobočka společnosti Exxon Mobile Corporate, která je velmi pokročilou společností v oblasti pracovní mobility, vzdělávání zaměstnanců a diverzity.

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to the management of corporate culture as diversity management. This issue is too important for any business in the area, because at present the importance of corporate culture and corporate diversity is increasingly emphasized in the context of a changing and globalizing environment. Based on the assessment, evaluation, analysis of the collected information on selected issues its confrontation with theoretical, previously known documents, the aim of the thesis analysis of the company based on the geocentric strategy. The aim of this work is the theoretical part comprehensively clarify the concept of diversity management as part of corporate culture. The empirical - analytical part, the main objective to describe in detail and analyze the current state workforce diversity and diversity management in selected multinational companies, particularly its Czech branch. The selected companies for the processing of this thesis is the Czech subsidiary of Exxon Mobile Corporate, which is very advanced companies in terms of labor mobility, staff training and diversity.
