Tato práce se zabývá uvozovacími slovesy v němčině a ve slovenštině a jejich překla-dem v beletristických textech. Práce vychází z předpokladu, že konvence v používání uvozovacích sloves se ve dvou zmiňovaných jazycích liší, a proto při překladu mezi nimi dochází k explicitačním či implicitačním posunům.
