Best practices in the work of the financial committee

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Osvědčené způsoby v činnosti finančního výboru“ se zabývá činnosti finančních výborů v obcí o velikosti od 3 000 do 10 000 obyvatel. První část práce se zabývá teoretickým vymezením územní samosprávy, obcí, jejích orgánů a finančních výborů. Tato část vychází z odborné literatury a zákonů v aktuálním znění. V navazující praktické části jsou popsány činnosti finančních výborů v jednotlivých obcích a analyzovány osvědčené způsoby v jejich činnosti. Data byla zjištěna na základě nestrukturovaných rozhovorů s členy finančních výborů, starosty a dále analýzou dokumentů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis “Best practises in the work of the financial committees” deals with the activities of financial committees in municipalities with a size of 3 000 to 10 000 inhabitants. The first part concerns the theoretical definition of territorial self-government, municipalities, its bodies and financial committees. This part is based on literature and laws of the latest version. The following practical part describes the activities of financial committees in individual municipalities and analyses best practises in their activities. Data were obtained from unstructured interview with members of the financial committees, mayor and by document analysis.
