Own Experiences with the Syndrom CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect - The Syndrom of Battered Child, Abuse Child and Neglect Child) in Ostravsko (as an Example of Agglomeration).

Abstract:

Tématem práce je složitý jev, zvaný syndrom CAN, syndrom týraného, zneužívaného a zanedbávaného dítěte. Jedná se o značně širokou problematiku, zasahující celou společnost. Teoretická část práce je členěna do osmi kapitol. První je věnována rodině, jako prostředí, ve kterém se dítě od počátku života vyvíjí a formuje. Dále pak postavení dítěte ve společnosti a dětským právům. Další kapitoly se zabývají samotným syndromem CAN. Pozornost je věnována příčinám, projevům a následkům týrání, zneužívání a zanedbávání a specifických forem syndromu CAN. Jsou popsány rizikové faktory, odhalování syndromu CAN a možnosti intervence. V kapitole osm je poskytnut přehled o prevenci. Praktická část zahrnuje vlastní zkušenosti středoškolských studentů v Ostravě se syndromem CAN. Informovanost a osobní prožitky byly zjišťovány pomocí dotazníku. Zjištěná data jsou interpretována v tabulkách a grafech

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is complicated phenomenon, called as Syndrom CAN, the Syndrom of Battered Child, Abuse Child and Neglect Child. There are considerably wide problems, which hit all society. The theoretical part consists of eight chapters. In the first chapter the family is the focus of attention, as a milieu, in which child grows up and shapes up from beginning of life. Next there are child?s position in society and children rights. Another chapters discusse Child Abuse and Neglect syndrome. Causes, manifestations, consequences of Battered child, Abuse Child and Neglect Child and special forms of Syndrome CAN are the focus of attention. There is give account of risk factors, detection and possibility intervention. The chapter eight provides an overview of prevention. The practical part includes own experiences with the Syndrome CAN of students of secondary schools in Ostrava. Informedness and personal experiences were discover via questionnaire. Research data are interpreted in tables and graphs.
