Abstract:

JAMNICKÁ, Silvia. Planning process analysis in Grandhotel Stary Smokovec****. [Bachelor thesis] The Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague 8, Ltd. Department of Hotel Management. Doc. Ing. Petr Čech, Ph. D. The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the planning process at the Grand Hotel. The aim of my thesis was to find out the real state of the implementation of planning process at the hotel.In theoretical part you can read about management, of its creation and application. In other subsections of theoretical part I analysed all the management functions and their relationships between each other. At last, the thesis also deals with the most important function - planning. In this theoretical part I focused on the meaning, objectives, components, processes, types and methods of planning.The analytical part represents characteristic of the hotel, interviews about planning process with director, manager and head receptionist of the hotel. In the next section, I have discussed and examined the recorded interviews. The results of the interview helped me to assess the given research question.The proposal part is based on the acquired data and it is focused at defining the positive and negative impacts on planning. The following are suggestions and methods of using to improve the planning process of the hotel. Based on the evaluation of interviews. I can say that planning is important and versatile function that affects positive run of the hotel. For each hotel, it is necessary to observe the new methods and trends in planning in order to every hotel could work without serious problems.

JAMNICKÁ, Silvia. Analýza plánovacieho procesu v Grand hoteli Starý Smokovec****. [Bakalárska práca] Vysoká škola hotelová. Doc. Ing. Petr Čech, Ph. D. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou analýzy plánovacieho procesu v Grand hoteli. Cieľom bakalárskej práce bolo zistiť reálny stav pri realizácii plánovacieho procesu v hoteli. V teoretickej časti je rozpracovaná problematika managementu jednotlivými autormi. V ďalších podkapitolách teoretickej časti sú popísané všetky manažérske funkcie a ich vzťahy medzi sebou. Nakoniec sa moja práca, taktiež zaoberá najhlavnejšou funkciou a to plánovaním. V tejto poslednej teoretickej časti som sa zamerala na význam, ciele, prvky, postupy, druhy a metódy plánovania.Analytickú časť predstavuje charakteristika hotela a rozhovory vypracované s riaditeľkou, manažérkou hotela a vedúcou recepcie na tému analýza plánovacieho proces. V ďalšej časti som analyzovala a interpretovala dáta získané z vykonaných rozhovorov. Výsledky z rozhovorov mi pomohli vyhodnotiť stanovené výskumné otázky.Návrhová časť je na základe získaných dát zameraná na vymedzení pozitívnych a negatívnych vplyvov na plánovanie. Ďalej sú uvedené návrhy a spôsoby na zlepšenie plánovania v hoteli. Na základe vyhodnotenia spravených rozhovorov viem konštatovať, že plánovanie je nevyhnutná a všestranná funkcia, ktorá ovplyvňuje ďalší priaznivý chod v hoteli. Pre každý hotel je nevyhnutné pozorovať nové metódy a trendy v plánovaní, aby každý hotel fungoval bez vážnych problémov.
