Eigenvalue Problems with Weights
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku vlastních čísel s váhovou funkcí. Pro jednoduchost uvažujeme konkrétní obyčejný diferenciální operátor druhého řádu s Dirichletovými okrajovými podmínkami. Nejprve určíme vlastní čísla a vlastní funkce v případě po částech konstantní váhové funkce a studujeme jejich závislost na parametrech váhové funkce. This bachelor thesis focuses on the eigenvalue problem with weights. For simplicity, we consider a particular second order ordinary differential operator with Dirichlet boundary conditions. We first determine the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions in the case of a piecewise constant weight function and study their dependence on the parameters of the weight function.
