Tématem předkládané bakalářské práce je trest smrti. Věnuji se zde teoretickému úvodu do problematiky trestu smrti, jeho historickému vývoji a způsobům provedení, současnému stavu ve světě a mezinárodnímu právnímu zakotvení. Subject of this thesis is the death penalty. The thesis deals with a theoretical introduction to the issue of the death penalty, its historical development and methods of implementation, the current situation in the world and international legal grounds.
