Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou lázeňství. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část, mapuje vývoj této lékařské vědy od samotného vzniku ve světě, například v Řecku a v Římě. Česká republika oplývá velkým bohatství přírodních léčivých zdrojů, a díky průkopnickým vizím přírodních léčitelů, lékařů, vědců je vývoj balneologie u nás neméně zajímavý. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of balneology. Thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part, mapping the development of this medical science since the very beginning in the world, for example in Greece and Rome.
