Anotace:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá institucionálním vývojem regulace a dohledu ve Spojených státech amerických a to zejména změnami vyplívající z reformního Dott-Frank zákona. První část této práce definuje obecné pojmy a důvody regulace a dohledu finančních trhů, popisuje strukturu hlavních institucí regulace a dohledu v období před finanční krizí 2008. Praktická část práce porovnává dva odlišné přístupy k reformám regulace a dohledu profesorů ekonomie, předních amerických univerzit, a to profesora Shillera a profesora Krosznera. Závěr práce poskytuje zhodnocení vhodnosti jednotlivých přístupů s ohledem na aktuální vývoj reforem institucionální uspořádání regulace a dohledu ve Spojených státech amerických.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the development of institutional regulation and supervision in the United States and especially changes resulting from a reform Dott-Frank Act. The first part of this work defines general concepts and the reasons for regulation and supervision of financial markets, describes the structure of the main institutions of regulation and supervision in the period before the financial crisis 2008. Practical work compares two different approaches to reform regulation and supervision of professors of economics, the leading American universities, Professor Shiller and Professor Kroszner. In conclusion the thesis provides assessment of the appropriateness of different approaches with regard to current reforms in the institutional arrangements of regulation and supervision in the United States of America.
