Predmetom bakalárskej diplomovej práce Jan Novák Sonata solis fidibus – analýza a kontext je predovšetkým rozbor jedinej Novákovej skladby určenej pre sólové husle. Prvá časť práce je zameraná na rekonštrukciu kontextu vzniku diela, okrem iného aj na podklade korešpondencie Jana Nováka a Evžena Zámečníka v dobe jeho emigrácie v Nemecku.
