Changing parameters for sanding of material ThermoWood and their influence on particle size analysis of the dust particles.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První se zaměřuje na materiál ThermoWood® a vzniklý prach při jeho broušení. Je zde uveden popis různých typů prachu, jeho škodlivosti na lidský organismus a způsoby, jakými lze obsah prachu na pracovišti eliminovat.Ve druhé části je sepsán postup, jakým se postupovalo při měření dat. Tedy postup broušení materiálů s následnou granulometrickou analýzou.Ve třetí části jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky získané na základě experimentu. Z těchto výsledků vyplývá, že během obrábění tepelně modifikovaného dřeva vzniká více jemného prachu než při obrábění dřeva nativního. Stupeň tepelné modifikace se zde taktéž projevil a z výsledků lze vyčíst, že se zvyšující se teplotou modifikace vzniká více jemného prachu. Patrný je také vliv posuvné rychlosti, kdy dochází ke zvyšování podílu jemného prachu při snižování posuvné rychlosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on the ThermoWood® material and the dust generated during its sanding. There is an analysis of different types of dust, its harmful effects on human organism and ways how to eliminate the dust content in the workplace.The second part describes the procedure used for data measurement. This is the process of sanding materials with subsequent granulometric analysis.The third part evaluates the results obtained from the experiment. These results show that more fine dust is generated during machining of thermally modified wood than during machining of native wood. The degree of thermal modification has also been reported here, and the results show that more fine dust is generated with increasing modification temperature. The influence of the feed speed is also evident, as the proportion of fine dust increases as the feed speed decreases.
