Diplomová práce se zabývá reflexí Napoleona Bonaparta v poezii Williama Blakea, Williama Wordswortha a George Gordona Byrona. Práce se zaměřuje na fakt, že každý z těchto básníků "konstruuje" svoji vlastní verzi Napoleona Bonaparta. William Blake representuje první generaci anglických romantiků. Abstract:
The thesis deals with William Wordsworth, William Blake and George Gordon Byron and their poetical reactions to Napoleon Bonaparte. The thesis focuses on the fact that each poet constructed his own image of Napoleon. William Blake represents older generation of English romanticism and he saw Napoleon mostly as a tyrant and oppressor. William Wordsworth projected his disillusionment and lost hopes into …more
