Abstract:

Diplomová práce Příspěvek k recepci a roli hermeneutiky v informační vědě se zabývá možnou spoluprací mezi informační vědou a hermeneutikou jakožto filosofickým přístupem. Práce představuje nástin dějinného vývoje obou disciplín. Dějiny informační vědy sleduje od její geneze až po vnitřní upevňování a dozrávání. Po dějinách hermeneutiky pátrá již v předfilosofickém období, to jest v období mýtů, a sleduje její existenci v raném křesťanství, středověku, v období reformace, v novověku, v osvícenství až do doby, kdy se rodí filosofická hermeneutika. Náčrt dějin filosofické hermeneutiky se opírá o charakteristiku jejích hlavních představitelů: Martina Heideggera a Hanse-Georga Gadamera a dále o reflexi hermeneutiky v dílech Jürgena Habermase, Karla-Otto Apela a Paula Ricoeura. Hlouběji se zabývá konstituováním informační vědy jako vědy, tedy vymezením jejího předmětu, metodologií a teorií. Zaměřuje se rovněž na epistemologický základ informační vědy a na filosofické předpoklady informační vědy. Poukazuje na recepci hermeneutiky v informační vědě, zejména v oblasti ukládání a vyhledávání informací a při výzkumu virtuálních komunit.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis The Contribution to the Reception and the Role of Hermeneutics in Information Science deals with possible cooperation between information science and hermeneutics as philosophical approach. The thesis presents the outline of historical development of both disciplines. The history of information science is followed up from its genesis up to the internal consolidation and maturing. The thesis searches for the history of hermeneutics already in its pre-philosophical period, i.e. in the time of myths, and its existence is regarded in early Christianity, the Middle Ages, Reformation, Modern Times, Enlightenment, until the time when the philosophical hermeneutics is born. The outline of history of philosophical hermeneutics is based on the characteristics of its main representatives: Martin Heidegger and Hans-Georg Gadamer and further on the reflection of hermeneutics in the works of Jürgen Habermas, Karl-Otto Apel and Paul Ricoeur. The thesis considers more deeply the constitution of information science as science, thus the definition of its subject, methodology and theory. It focuses on epistemological principle of information science and on the philosophical assumption of information science. The thesis adverts to the reception of hermeneutics in information science, especially in the area of information storage and retrieval and in research of virtual communities.
