V této práci se zabývám tématem domácího anděla, inspirovaného básnickou sbírkou The Angel in the House anglického básníka Coventry Patmora, která vyšla v roce 1854. The Angel in the House is the nineteenth-century ideal of true feminity. Although we encounter aesthetic images of 'angel' and 'monster' already in mythology, it was English poet Coventry Patmore who gave a name to this ideal and popularised it in the nineteenth century.
