Lexical specifics of slang used in modern music

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na analýzu současné podoby slangu užívaného v oblasti moderní hudby. Konkrétně tato práce pojednává o způsobu obohacování slovní zásoby hudebníků z hlediska lingvistického. Způsob obohacování spočívá v tvoření nových slov, také přejímáním cizích slov a sémantickým tvořením lexikálních jednotek. Základní materiál k této práci byl získáván studiem odborné literatury a shromažďováním příslušných materiálů. Následně celá metodologie této práce je završena vyhodnocením a zpracováním těchto informací. Cílem mé práce byla snaha získat slovník nebo se alespoň přiblížit mluveným výrazům hudebního slangu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of the current form of slang used in the field of modern music. Especially this thesis deals with the method of enrichment of musicians vocabulary regarding linguistic terms. The method of enrichment lies in the formation of new words, the taking ? over of foreign words and the semantic formation of lexical units. The basic material for this thesis was gauner by the study of specific literature and collection of relevant material. Subsequently, the whole methodology of this work is completed by evaluation and processing of this information. The aim of my thesis was to gain the dictionary or at lest ? to get closer to the spoken expressions of the music´s slang.
