Lektiny jsou proteiny nebo glykoproteiny neimunitního původu schopné rozpoznávat a reverzibilně vázat různé sacharidové struktury. Tato práce se zabývá bioinformatickým vyhledáváním a analýzou lektinů z plísní a hub. Na základě sekvenční homologie byly identifikovány houbové proteiny podobné známým lektinům. Abstract:
Lectins are multivalent proteins or glycoproteins of non-immunogenic origin which recognize and bind reversibly to diverse sugar structures. This thesis deals with bioinformatical seach and analysis of lectins from molds and mushrooms.
