V úvodní části diplomové práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy a je popsána legislativa. Práce pokračuje charakteristikou zdravotnických odpadů, popisem nakládání s nimi, jejich klasifikací a také je uvedeno, jak má být školen zdravotnický personál. In the introductory section of this thesis, basic concepts are defined and legislation is described. The thesis deals with the characteristics of medical waste, its handling and classification, and how medical personnel should be trained.
