CSR reporting of logistics companies in the segment of CEP services

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou nefinančního reportingu v odvětví kurýrních, expresních a balíkových služeb prostřednictvím hodnocení publikovaných CSR zpráv vybraných společností. Cílem práce je zhodnotit stav reportování odvětví a navrhnout doporučení tak, aby reporting byl v souladu s osvědčenými postupy ve světě. Na začátku práce jsou vymezeny základní logistické aspekty daného odvětví a podrobně pojednáno o teorii nefinančního reportování. Na tuto část navazuje úsek, který se věnuje představení firem zařazených do analýzy včetně argumentace ohledně jejich volby. Další část se věnuje návrhu metodologie hodnocení CSR zpráv těchto firem. Závěr práce provádí hodnocení zpráv a stanovuje doporučení k jejich optimalizaci.

Abstract:

Presented diploma thesis is concerned with the analysis of non-financial reporting in the field of courier, express and parcel services through the evaluation of disclosed CSR reports of selected companies. The aim of the work is to evaluate the state of reporting inside the industry and to propose recommendations so that the reporting will be in line with the world best practices. The basic logistics aspects of the CEP business are defined at the beginning of the thesis together with the theory of non-financial reporting, which is discussed in detail. This part is followed by a section that introduces companies selected for the analysis with argumentation of their choice. Further part is concerned with the design of a methodology for evaluating CSR reports. Final part of the work evaluates reports and suggests optimization recommendations.
