Preparing staff and clients for the transformation of residential services for people with mental retardation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je tematicky orientována na problematiku přípravy pracovníků a zároveň klientů na transformaci pobytových služeb pro cílovou skupinu osob s mentální retardací. Teoretická východiska práce se opírají o poznatky z problematiky mentální retardace, specifik osob s mentální retardací, vzdělávání a péče o osoby s mentální retardací a problematice služeb pro osoby s mentálním postižením, se zvláštním zřetelem na služby pobytové. Kvalitativně orientované výzkumné šetření bude zaměřeno na analýzu připravenosti pracovníků a klientů na realizaci procesu transformace pobytových služeb pro osoby s mentálním postižením. Dominantní výzkumnou technikou jsou polostrukturovaná interview a výzkumný vzorek bude tvořen jak pracovníky, tak klienty DOZP. Výstupem práce bude formulace strukturovaných doporučení a metodického postupu přípravy pracovníků i klientů na úspěšnou realizaci transformace výše zmíněného typu služeb.

Abstract:

The thesis is thematically focused on the problems of workers and at the sama time of the clients transformation of residential services for the target group of people with mental retardation. Theoretical basics of the work is based on knowledge from the mental retardation problems, specific characteristics of people with mental retardation, education and care for people with mental retardation and i tis based on problems of residential services for people with mental retardation. Qualitative research will focus on analysis how worker are ready and clients in the realisation proces of the transformation of residential services for people with mental disabilities. Dominant research technice is a semi-structured interview and an observational sample which consist of both workers and clients DOZP. Outcome of this work is to formulate recommendations structured and methodical proces of preparing workers and clients to successful realisation transformation of the above mentioned type of services.
