Cryptocurrencies and their potential in tourism

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na aktuální téma kryptoměn. Hlavním cílem práce je zkoumání potenciálu kryptoměn se zaměřením na využití v oblasti cestovního ruchu, dále identifikace zásadních výhod a nevýhod ze strany uživatele (zákazníka) i ze strany poskytovatele (prodejce) a návrh dalšího rozvoje a využití v daném odvětví. V návaznosti na stanovené cíle je práce rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část poskytuje základní východiska ke zkoumané problematice kryptoměn a cestovního ruchu. Praktická část navazuje na teoretická východiska vlastním šetřením o postoje široké veřejnosti k tématu. Následně jsou data zpracována a vyhodnocena. V poslední části tvoří poznatky získané výzkumem základ pro návrhy řešení a dalšího rozvoje využití kryptoměn v oblasti cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the current topic of cryptocurrencies. The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to examine the potential of cryptocurrencies with a focus on use in tourism, to identify major advantages and disadvantages on the part of the user (customer) and provider (seller) and to propose further development and use in a tourism. In connection with the set goals, the thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides the basis for the researched issues of cryptocurrencies and tourism. The practical part builds on the theoretical basis of its own research of the attitudes of the general public on the topic. Subsequently, the data are processed and evaluated. In the last part, the findings of the research form the basis for proposals for solutions and further development of the use of cryptocurrencies in the field of tourism.
