The aim of this thesis is to highlight the economic consequences of health inequalities in the European Union and to enrich the method of Mackenbach, Meerding and Kunst (2011). Cieľom diplomovej práce je poukázať na ekonomické dôsledky nerovností v zdraví v Európskej únii a rovnako obohatiť metódu Mackenbacha, Meerdinga a Kunsta (2011).
