Performance measurement and management on the example of an industrial company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma měření a řízení výkonnosti na příkladu průmyslového podniku se zabývá analýzou současného měření výkonnosti ve společnosti KPHN a.s. V teoretické části je popsán systém měření výkonnosti, proces stanovení měřítek a nástroje měření výkonnosti. V praktické části je představena společnost KPHN a.s. a popis současného systému měření výkonnosti. Na základě strategie a dlouhodobých cílů společnosti je navržen vhodnější systém měření výkonnosti, a to pomocí Balanced Scorecard. Nejprve jsou zapracovány strategické cíle společnosti do jednotlivých perspektiv, které jsou doplněné navrženými strategickými cíli. Následuje popis jednotlivých cílů, strategické akce a navržená měřítka. Na závěr je sestavena strategická mapa, která propojuje všechny strategické cíle a je nástrojem pro strategické řízení v rámci systému Balanced Scorecard.

Abstract:

The thesis on performance measurement and management on the example of an industrial company deals with the analysis of the current performance measurement in KPHN a.s. The theoretical part describes the performance measurement system, the process of setting metrics and performance measurement tools. In the practical part, the company KPHN a.s. is introduced and the current performance measurement system is described. Based on the strategy and long-term goals of the company, a more appropriate performance measurement system is proposed using the Balanced Scorecard. First, the strategic goals of the company are incorporated into the individual perspectives that are complemented by the author's proposed strategic goals. This is followed by a description of the individual objectives, strategic actions, and proposed metrics. Finally, a strategy map is constructed linking all strategic objectives and representing a tool for strategic management within the Balanced Scorecard system.
