Specific Learning Disabilities with the Focus on Grammar School Students

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá specifickými poruchami učení u žáků studujících na gymnáziu. Práce je členěna na dvě části, teoretickou a empirickou. První kapitola je věnována specifickým poruchám obecně, zejména dyslexii, dysgrafii, dyskalkulii a dysortografii. Další kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na diagnostikou a reedukací těchto poruch a na následnou péči o žáky. V empirické části se zabývám prezentací výsledků výzkumného šetření, jehož hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, jak pracuje učitel s vybranými žáky, u nichž je diagnostikována alespoň jedna specifická porucha učení, ve výuce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on specific learning disabilities of grammar school students. The thesis is divided into two parts – the theoretical and the empirical one. The first chapter concentrates on specific learning disabilities in general - on dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and dysortographia in particular. The following chapters deal with diagnosis and reeducation of these disorders and subsequent attention paid to the students in question. In the empirical part I present the results of my research, whose main goal was to find out the methods and techniques which teachers use in class when working with the students who suffer from at least one specific learning disability.
