The theoretical concept of psychological resilience from the perspective of Slovak psychologists

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou psychické odolnosti, ze značné části z pohledu slovenských psychologů. Teoretická část práce shrnuje poznatky k problematice. Z konkrétního hlediska vymezuje samotný pojem psychická odolnost, věnuje se základnímu rozdělení definic, faktorům odolnosti a možnostem zvládání stresu. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na vývoj konceptu psychické odolnosti, od prvních výzkumů a pojetí psychické odolnosti až po současné zkoumání. Následně práce přibližuje tři hlavní koncepty psychické odolnosti (sense of coherence, hardiness a locus of control). K pochopení pohledu slovenských psychologů na koncept psychické odolnosti, se následující kapitola zabývá výzkumnými studiemi slovenských odborníků a jejich hlavními přínosy. Výzkumná část bakalářské práce prezentuje vlastní výzkum, realizovány s využitím kvalitativní metody. Cílem výzkumu je charakterizovat teoretický a metodologický přístup k problematice psychické odolnosti slovenskými psychology.

Abstract:

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is resilience, especially from the perspective of Slovak psychologists. The theoretical part summarizes findings on this issue. This part specifically defines the term resilience, deals with the basic distribution of definitions, resilience factors and stress management options. The second chapter is focused on the development of the concept of mental resilience, from the first mental resilience research up to the present exploration. The bachelor thesis then introduces three main concepts of resilience (sense of coherence, hardiness and locus of control). To understand the Slovak psychologists concept of resilience point of view, the next chapter is focused on research studies of Slovak specialists and the main benefit of these studies. The research part of this bachelor thesis presents its own research, based on qualitative method of work. The main goal of this research is to characterize the Slovak psychologists theoretical and metodological approach to resilience problematics.
